Frequently asked questions

What payment is accepted?

Cash, Cashapp, and Venmo. The Cashapp tag is $ioCameron. The Venmo name is @ioCameron and the confirmation number is 2205. We do not take zelle, credit cards, or payment plans.

When do I pay?

When you drop off your scooter, e-bike, or battery you pay the diagnostic fee. You can pay the remaining balance when you pick up your item. For high-cost parts, up-front payment may be required. We do appreciate, but do not require, up-front payment up to the amount that is certain to be charged.

How much does it cost?

There is a diagnostic fee of $50 per item. That money is applied to any repair you get done. Our pricing varies depending on what your item needs. We can typically provide a rough estimate over the phone if the solution to the issue is known. We do not give an exact price since each item is unique. Once you pay the diagnostic fee and we assess the issues, we can provide a more accurate quote as requested before proceeding with the repair.

How long does it take?

The average turnaround time for all repairs is approximately one week. Tire repairs for small tire scooters are typically quicker, while repairs that require parts to be ordered may take longer. If you need your e-bike or scooter for daily transportation, tell me why and I can try to work with your needs. Note that we usually can offer a rental scooter. We do not offer same-day repairs.

Do you offer recycling?

Yes. You can surrender unwanted electric scooters or e-bikes to us, and we will try to give them new life. We do not purchase these items. We love when our scrap pile supplies us with impossible-to-purchase parts and are happy to keep things out of the landfill.
